How we make money

Plainly, because you should know whose interests are in the room.

• Referral fees. Some links to services (money transfer, international movers, accommodation, insurance brokers, relocation companies) pay us a fee if you use them. Where a link is paid, we say so next to the link. A fee never changes a recommendation: where a free or cheaper route exists, the page says so first.
• Display advertising on some pages.
• Our own products — paid guides and planning tools, clearly labelled as ours.
• What we refuse: commissions tied to investments (including Golden Visa funds), payment for rankings or reviews, sponsored posts presented as editorial, and selling your personal data.
